The 6-Stage Powder Coat Process

Every metal product manufactured by Kings River Casting passes through a 6-stage in-house finish process. The result is a hard, even, long-lasting coating that resists chipping, fading, and corrosion in outdoor environments.

1. Clean & degrease — remove oils, residues, and contaminants from raw steel
2. Rinse — flush away cleaning chemistry
3. Iron phosphate treatment — build a corrosion-resistant base
4. Rinse — remove process residues before drying
5. Sealer — lock the phosphate layer and prepare the surface for coating
6. Powder application & cure — electrostatic powder spray followed by bake-oven cure for a hard, even finish

Environmentally Friendly

Our paint booth and bake oven are designed to minimize emissions and waste. Powder coating produces no VOC solvents and any overspray can be reclaimed and reused — cleaner for our staff, cleaner for Sanger, and cleaner for the customers and parks that put our products to use.
